Since joining Dentex Dental Specialty Group in 2015, Dr. Sahar Moeini has become an integral part of our team. Dr. Moeini provides expert dental care for all fields of dentistry, with an emphasis on comprehensive treatment and restorative dentistry.

Here’s a few things you many not already know about Dr. Moeini:

Do you have a favorite type of procedure to perform?

I love restorative dentistry, such as natural and implant crowns, veneers and bridges. I particularly love the process of tooth preparation, which is when we prepare and shape the tooth to get it ready for the future crown structure. It’s the structural design for both function and esthetics. 

How has dentistry changed since you started practicing?

In the last 10 years, by far the biggest change in the dentistry has been the emergence of digital technology such as computer-aided dental implant and surgery guides, digital record keeping and security and restorative digital impressions which has replaced traditional uncomfortable dental impressions. 

What do you love most about living in Los Angeles?

I love the diversity of people and I love how there are so many neighborhoods and so much to do. You can make LA living anything you like.

Where are we most likely to find you on the weekend?

Since having a baby last year my life has changed! So you can usually find me at home relaxing with my baby daughter and husband. I also love going on hikes and long walks.

Do you have a favorite restaurant in the area?

I love Dan Tana's Italian restaurant. If you go, you must try their spaghetti.
